The School’s most anticipated award event is set to organize her 5th edition. This was made known by the Student Union Government (S.U.G) Social Director popularly known as Larry Oxide and the OGA 5.0 team through broadcast messages. The event, which started in 2015 had been recognizing OGITITES in a positive way and this year will not be an exception.
This year’s event seems to take a new dimension seeing the viral anticipatory video shared by the organizers. In the video 6 faculties, 21 departments, and over 3000 students are to be recognized; over 30 categories will be voted for and there will be over 10 non voting categories.
We also gathered that nominations for the award categories is to start by July 18th, 2022 and end 1st August, 2022.
OGA event was created in 2015 by XVI Events (now 16 Academy); a company owned by then an ND 2 student of Computer science, it was Co-Hosted by WaterLee Entertainment (Owned by then a HND 2 student of Business Administration) with sponsorship from great brands like Globacom, Viju Foods, GreatKings Hotel and was televised on TVC. Over 30 Awards were presented of which winners emerged via online voting.
So far the event had been held 4 times, having breaks in between due to unforeseen reasons, 2022’s will be edition 5.0 – ANTICIPATE!!!
