Loan request now available for OGITECH students, FAQ

Earlier today 3rd April, 2024, Mr. Arogunjo, Officer in charge of Media and publicity in the school announced that OGITECH students can now request for loan. He further announced that the process is seamless as just submitting their details on the website and if eligible, such request will be granted. He also state that the officer in charge of this is Mr. Ajibose of the Bursary Department.

This is a good news for students but have left so many questions unanswered among students. Questions related to its authenticity and how to apply. We have curated something for our audience on how this loan was brought to light. Read carefully:

Which body is in charge of the loan?

The National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) is in charge of the loan. The NBTE is an organ of the Federal Ministry of Education which is charged with the responsibility of regulating Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in Nigeria hence the website for the loan request tvet.ng

Are OGITECH students eligible for the Loan?

The loan is granted to TVET Institutions, when looked up on the official website, OGITECH is one of these Institution. So by extension, OGITECH students can apply see for your self here

How do I apply?

Application is easy, just go to https://www.tvet.ng/ click the sign up link, select student account – Enter your details correctly from the personal details to secondary school details and Current level details, upload passport. then submit.

Once you have successfully registered, you would receive a verification email asking you to click on the link contained in the mail. Once your email address has been verified and your institution’s administrator as verified your account, you would receive another mail with your unique username and password, along with instructions on how to login to your dashboard to modify your data.

Meanwhile, there’s no guarantee that all applicants will get the loan as this is subject review by the appropriate body. But there’s no harm in trying if you need this.
