The students most popular Award event – OGITECH Awards (OGA) is set to hold her 7th edition. Announcing the teaser of the event, the organizers shared a broadcast with the caption:
“It’s time we applaud student with alot of abilities talent, entrepreneurs, CEO. With love, unity and everyone’s co-operation. OGA Award 2024 is a Big One. Ogitech Student Award Is Back”
The organizers have also put up a weekly challenge on their Instagram page for OGA’s face of the week to promote students inclusiveness as one of their utmost priority.
OGITECH Students Award (OGA started in 2015 by the then SUECO Chairman; Comr. Babatunde Okunola and XVI Events (now 16 Academy); a company owned by then an ND 2 student of Computer science with the approval of the School Management under the leadership of Engr. Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Akinkurolere (Former Rector). The event was Co-Hosted by WaterLee Entertainment (Owned by then a HND 2 student of Business Administration) with sponsorship from great brands like Globacom, Viju Foods, GreatKings Hotel and was televised on TVC. Over 30 Awards were presented of which winners emerged via online voting. So far the event had been held 6 times including last years’, recognizing the impacts of students and alumni in OGITECH.
Year 2024’s edition being the 7th edition promises to be better – as they say, Seven is a perfect number #wink
