Nans meeting held on 29th of January

Minutes of the OGUN NANS STAKEHOLDERS MEETING HELD AT DUNKIN PEPPER SPOT,KUTO STADIUM ABEOKUTA ON 29/01/2017. The meeting started exacted 03:15pm with the opening prayer by Comr. Samrich from OOU. The S. A on students Matters welcomed every one to the meeting and explained that the meeting is specifically based on forthcoming NANS JCC Ogun Axis Election. The CPC Chairman briefed the whole house how far the CPC has gone in preparation for the Election. He added that series of letters has been forwarded to the hosting Institution(Funaab), Security agencies and the State Government. Also, the aspirants should be prepared for Security Screening which is very important before the Election proper. However, the S. A urge the aspirants and stakeholders to see the forthcoming Election as our Election and expected proper coordination for the success. He emphasized that Ogun State Government will not condole any faction whatsoever and who ever sticks to this acts will be dealt it. He added that, there wont be room for faction and sound a warning to all senators not to join in factionalisaion of the Association. He expected all senators to be at the point of Election To know who wins the Election. The S.A advised aspirants not to take laws into their hands during the Election. Conclusively, he solicited for free, fair and Condusive Electioneering process. Contibutions. Comr. Okiki Aluta, the ZONE D Coordinator appreciated all senators, stakeholders and aspirants present , advised senators and aspirants to shun any act of factionalisation. He urged senators to take the campaign of their candidates upon themselves and also all aspirants should make themselves available for Security Screening. Leader Aro apologized for coming late behind schedule. He express his disappointment on the level at which Students dont take their Education serious. Education should always come before Unionism and advised all students to endeavor to have a certificate. He further stated that, no faction is allowed in NANS Ogun, when faction occurs, suffering begins and struggle is paralyzed. Senators suffer when their is factions while stakeholders benefits.He concluded that, everyone should be reasonable to have a united NANS in ogun State, Peace is an hallmark of Excellence. Comr. Ola Naps advised all aspirants to accept the outcome of the Election, shunning any acts of faction. Leader Tola Awobotu and Comr. Tunde NANS advised aspirants To take their aspirations serious and also create relationship with the Senators. Comrade Denco (Funaab SUG President) assured the stakeholders and aspirants that the Senators will work towards the progress of NANS and also urged the CPC to do a thorough Screening of the aspirants before the Election day.
