For quite a while now, the school most popular student blog (OGITECH Amebo) had been under construction basically to make the platform more user friendly and accessible for students; meeting almost all their online needs.
The management of the blog is happy to announce the rebirth of the blog with more features. We have moved from www.ogitechamebo.blogspot.com to a more accessible domain – www.ogitechamebo.com.ng. we strongly apologize for any inconvenience.
You can now access the blog with the following features embedded in it.
- Nigeria News: Read local Nigerian news and updates concerning OGITECH daily on the blog (this includes; gists & gossip, sports, events, music etc).
- Forum: You can now join our forum section. Here you get to create a topic which allows people to contribute.
- Chat: A Mass Communication student in OGITECH had designed a social network where all students get to chat with each other and hook up. This had been embedded on OGITECH Amebo as well.
- Buy & Sell: We discovered that most students are entrepreneurs of which many don’t know how to get their products to the students. We’ve created an e-commerce option on the blog where you get to register as a vendor, upload your products upon approval and sell to potential buyers…. To register as a vendor, click on my account>>select “become a vendor”
- Advertise (50 Naira): Here you can now advertise your products on the blog for as low as 50 Naira. You choose your preferred location and your advert displays ASAP.
