In a meeting held on the 11th December, 2017 among all departmental Excos, Class heads and the Rector, the Rector of Ogun State Institute of Technology, Igbesa – Engr, Dr. (Mrs.) Olufunke Akinkurolere announced the appointment of the members of the student representative council (SRC).
The SRC had been the representative of the students ever since the Student Union Government (SUG) was suspended in the year 2014

Research shows that A students’ representative council, also known as a students’ administrative council, represents student interests in the government of a Higher Institution or other educational institution. Generally the SRC forms part of a broader students’ association which may include other functions such as societies, entertainments (in the form of a Students’ union) and sports (in the form of a sports’ union).
We hope this administration is able to display the above mentioned characteristics.
