“MACE PROTECTOR” REMOVED FROM PORTFOLIO

You remember the SPC report on the mace saga right? And their request for Students involved be removed from their department portfolios?

Well, the President of Computer Science Students has taken a bold step as published in a press statement today 9th August, 2019. Read below

NIGERIAN ASSOCIATION OF COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS, NACOSS OGITECH CHAPTER.

PRESS STATEMENT

Sequel to the comprehensive report received from the Student Union on the disruption and uproar that erupted from the in-house election of the Student Parliamentary Council (SPC) on Wednesday 7th August, 2019 which was orchestrated by theft of the Union’s Mace, and indicted Fajimi Michael Olakunle of Banking and Finance Department, and Taiwo Joshua Anuoluwapo of Computer Science Department, both in ND1.

With the directive of the HOD Computer Science Department and in line with the tenets of the association (NACOSS), i am obliged to inform you that TAIWO JOSHUA ANUOLUWAPO has been removed from the departmental portfolio and as an executive of the association (assistant social director to be precise).

This decision is a tough one to make, but became necessary to safeguard, protect and preserve the integrity of the association and computer science department at large.
