Shortly before the General Elections, the competition was on break after Obule Integrated School, Sapele and Boys Secondary School, Obiaruku qualified for the final.

At the meeting today (March 12), the LOC headed by the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Chiedu Ebie, said a new date for the final originally billed for March 15 will emerge.

Ebie will host the LOC officials and the organizing team in his Office where they are also expected to discuss the logistics for the final match.

Head of the organising team, Tony Pemu, noted that apart from the just concluded elections, the forthcoming Nigeria, Seychelles encounter taking place at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba could affect plans for the Zenith/Delta Principals’ Cup final.
