Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr has disclosed that the Nigeria team is the best disciplined he ever managed in Africa. Rohr has managed Tunisia, Niger, Burkina Faso, Nigeria and Gabon in his coaching career.

Also the Nigeria’s Super Eagles have booked their place in the 2019 African Cup of Nations after being forced to a 1-1 draw by South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in yesterday’s qualification match at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
The Super Eagles opened scoring in the 9th minute after a cross by Samuel Kalu was deflected into the net by Bafana Bafana defender, Buhle Mkhwanazi. The South African response was fast as Percy Tau caught the Super Eagles napping and laid on for Mothiba Lebo to level on 26th minute.
In the 35th minute, Nigeria should have regained the lead after Kelechi Iheanacho was through on goal with only Itumeleng Khune to beat. A poor touch, however, allowed his effort to be blocked.

No further goalmouth action followed and the teams went into the break locked at 1-1.
In the second half Kenneth Omeruo then had an excellent chance for Nigeria to take the lead but could only head wide when hitting the target seemed an easier option.

Libya hammered Seychelles 8-1 in the other game. A win for them will see them join Nigeria as the second group B ticket holder for the AFCON 2019 tournament. The Super Eagles will be at home to Seychelles who have conceded 22 goals in their five group games and prop up the table with one point.
