Akinnubi Muiz Damilare, an Electrical Electronics department student of Ogun State Institute of Technology (OGITECH), Igbesa finds it needful to react to President Muhammadu Buhari’s criticism concerning Nigerian Youths on Wednesday, 19th April, 2018 by publishing what he calls “An Open Letter”
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT WHO SHOULD LOOK AT THE MIRROR IF HE IS LOOKING FOR A LAZY FELLOW…..
Dear President Muhammad Buhari,
I am a young man under the age of 30.
I have worked in different ramifications of life before i gain admission into OGITECH to study Electrical and electronics engineering;
I am an aspiring Entrepreneur with huge prospect.
Mr. President, sir, be informed that I run a few enterprises and still scouting for opportunities to broaden up.
I want to say with all modesty and responsibility that I am a hardworking, resilient, focused, diligent and contented young man without any link to atrocities or illegal way of making money!
The youths in your party, APC who supported YOU – a man favored by federal character and quota system without verifiable secondary school certificate for President – may be LAZY and KNOW NOTHING ,but I; AKINNUBI MUIZ do not take NO FOR AN ANSWER while pursuing my dreams.
In his letter, he views the President’s statement of some Nigerian Youths being lazy as disgraceful and humbly urges him to stop.
I humbly urge you to stop disgracing me and other hardworking Nigerians,especially we YOUTHS whenever you are outside the shores.
As a president, sir, you are meant to polish the image of Nigerians internationally but a reverse has been the case from your end….
Many young Nigerians with zeal to work at multinationals, continental and intercontinental organizations will suffer from this your diatribe against common sense of today.
Mr. President, I went to school, am in school and I will still go back to school to seek for more knowledge, I have SSCE, OND, HND in d making… please sir, present your SSCE Certificate before you insult Nigerian Youths further!!!
