An OGITECH student who is also a member of the National Association of Nigerian Bloggers, Daniel Skenty (Talosmart) and one Mr. Obiajulum; the CEO of J&I Supreme Construction company escaped death that could have been caused by a fallen ceiling fan.
When asked by one of our correspondence, Talosmart narrated that the incident occurred when he was coming back from an official assignment with the C.E.O of J&I Supreme Company around 8.00pm yesterday night (Saturday 17th February 2018). He further said; It is part of me as I was thought by my late mother to always off my home electric supply when am leaving home. So, on getting back that night, I switch on the electric power supply from the switch.
Then I went inside with my C.E.O friend. I sat on a chair and I started bringing out my laptop, extension and chargers from my bag, I don’t know what came over me, I just decided not to bring out my laptop again (that would have be the end of my laptop).
J&I Supreme C.E.O (Mr Obiajulum) was standing under the fan. Suddenly! I just heard the sound “gbeem”. Behold the Ceiling fan fell on Mr. Obiajulum, he jumped out of the location immediately and unto my couching chair. I was so scared. Immediately he started shouting and asking me to check if his face was not cut. Behold! It was just a little cut. I did not notice that the fan dropped on my leg and close to my computer until my I started feeling serious pain on my toe and finger. I was injured more than my C.E.O. friend.
Immediately, we rush to the nearest hospital and we were giving treatment.
I am using this medium to appreciate God that this incident did not take my life and that of my friend’s.
I am also warning all Nigerians to be security cautious.
1. Do not leave your electric power supply on while away from home
2. Off all appliances when you are outdoor.
