On Monday, 3rd of April 2817, the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology, Technology and Innovation Expo began at Abuja of which OGUN State Institute of Technology, Igbesa was well represented with outstanding innovations.

One of the representative for OGITECH posted in a group Chat:
“Good news! We are the only state polytechnic present here in the whole Nigeria at #FMST (Federal Ministry of Science and Technology) Technology and Innovation Expo 2017 @ Abuja. It shows we have a good leader, a big thanks to our good Rector Eng. (Mrs.) Akinkurolere Olufunke O. Mapoly, Laspotech, and all others are not seeing. OGITECH leads others follows”.
